When we last spotted mercurial man-about-the-shop Esteban, he was dumpster diving in post 82.

The Service Department has been uber-busy lately. Some can say it’s because of the gas prices, some might even say it’s because of the Tour De France being on TV. I think it’s because people love riding their bikes and there is no time like the present. Bring your bikes in for a summer clean or checkup! Here is a peek into my world….

saying that he doesn’t need anymore bikes. This is Matt Bigos‘ new road bike. One Service Course professional keeping his chops up at the San Diego Century. This rider, once properly shod, duct-taped and reprimanded after a shoe blowout in minute 8 of the event, came by the store to express her gratitude to the bearded uber-tech who swooped in to save her day.

Friend and fellow bike industry maven, Tim “Masiguy” Jackson, crashed at the San Diego Velodrome last Tuesday.

This was performed in a controlled environment by professionals…..Matt Bigos is an extreme athlete. When we work on his bike we need to make sure it can handle many extreme conditions. His bike is race ready, race proven and racing right now. Good Luck Matt!
