The B&L Bikes Daily Fix

Congrat’s to Team B&L’s Susanne Davis! She raced the 2009 San Diego International Triathlon  this weekend and placed 2nd in the Pro class and 17th overall! No, there will not be a caption contest this week.   I had several opportunities to watch Tyler Hamilton race with exceptional style, tenacity and determination. I know him to be a gentleman, so long as your wife is not around.  I wish him the best of luck.

Next time I cheat and lose anyway, I’ll remember a great pro cyclist. 

 That’s Kam’s shadow, who also rode, bringing today’s rider count  in windy but dry conditions to 9.  DB was in charge of points at Taubmann Summit, 50MPH, and Stop Ahead, but was not close enough to the action to make the calls…  We’re giving Trumpet Frank all the points anyway.

So, now that www.blbikes.com is kind of our official blog, this may become a full time caption and photoshop contest site.

Anna Gerber, currently setting up a super-team for next season, managed to talk her way into a coveted Redlands start with a composite of her own design.  Wish them luck in today’s Beaumont road stage, and look for results in the criterium tomorrow.  There should be a special report here soon about their weekend on the big stage.
